Is affiliate marketing a short term business?

I mean is affiliate marketing is limited for certain time period?Or it has a long life?
I think it depends on what you are an affiliate for – I have been doing this for 4 years now and is my full time job. Also, if you pay attention there are more offline stores offering this same thing like Walmart and Target – don’t think they would even consider if they didn’t think this was the wave of the future – my recommendation is to start out with Amazon and narrow down a niche from there – something that you like.
